Originally from Uganda, Lela lives in the Cotswolds with her husband, Andrew and their three children.

 

She is an author who enjoys writing stories that bring joy to the reader but also inform and educate. Her books so far include: Ashes of Childhood, Dare to Trust God’s Word, Faith Muntu and The Lost Elephant, Tendo’s Gift.

 

Lela is also philanthropist and a business creative; the founder of THE LELA INITIATIVE, a not-for-profit publishing house that supports literacy projects within communities in Uganda.
